Mission

Friends of Gables Prep is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Coral Gables Preparatory Academy from Pre-K through 8th grade. We partner closely with school leadership to fund impactful programs and improvements that fall outside the scope of public budgets and traditional parent organizations. FOGP also serves as a bridge across the CGPA community, welcoming new families, engaging alumni, and fostering connections that support a warm, inclusive school culture devoted to excellence.

How We Work
We complement, rather than overlap with, the work of the PTSA and other parent groups by:

•  Funding programs that aren’t supported by existing budgets or grants

• Acting as a catalyst for innovation, retention, and the amplification of school culture

• Providing a platform for broader donor engagement and community investmen​t
